Dr. Rosendale is dedicated to expanding the understanding of health disparities within neurology, particularly in regard to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) health. She is working to understand stroke disparities in LGBTQ+ individuals in order to create culturally responsive interventions to improve cerebrovascular health in this community. She is also an Ancillary Study Investigator with The Pride Study, the first longitudinal, large-scale study of LGBTQ+ identified individuals in the United States, through which she is investigating migraine disability in the LGBTQ+ community
