Dr. Rosendale is dedicated to expanding the understanding of health disparities within neurology, particularly in regard to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) health. She is working to understand stroke disparities in LGBTQ+ individuals in order to create culturally responsive interventions to improve cerebrovascular health in this community.

Dr. Butler is a social epidemiologist and minister with interests in the role of religion, childhood experiences and psychological stress on health outcomes
